Rain City Capital featured in the Puget Sound Business Journal

It’s been an exciting time for Rain City Capital. Last month we had one of our best months ever, and this month saw us listed as one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Washington for the third year in a row and one of their Eastside 50 Fastest Growing Companies for a second year.

To top it all off, the Puget Sound Business Journal decided to write a feature on us, “Real estate lender Rain City Capital gives as it grows,” where they talked to our founder Fred Rea about the history of the company, its growth to one of the top lenders in Washington today, and how important it is to give back.

Check out the fantastic article here.

As stated in the article, we’ve grown a lot since Fred started the company on his own in 2009. We now employ 35 people and have funded over $750 million in over 4,000 transactions. But if you ask Fred, the other important number is the amount we’ve given to our $100 Mission charity partners: $243,700.

We believe it’s important to give back. As June Leahy, executive director of our $100 Mission partner The Austen Everett Foundation says, “Every time that I go into their office … there is such a strong camaraderie and they are just something you want to be a part of. I love the way the employees are so genuinely interested in the work that we do.”

We’d like to thank our borrowers for choosing to do business with us, our employees for working hard to make it happen, and our $100 Mission charity partners for their amazing work in the community.

Here’s to many more years of real and lasting mutual success!
